The Farmington man, who was bedridden by a health condition, became known for hosting. BRUNSWICK Brittany Layne Brown, 31 years old, passed away unexpectedly on July 6, 2022, in her home. She loved sewing and crafts and was always creating something new. Brittany was born on May 2, 1991, in Waterville to Michael Brown and Dodi Olsen. She loved flowers and grew them inside and out. She also had a large vegetable garden and canned its bounty. The Morning Sentinel was founded on Maby officials of the Waterville Democratic Party. She is survived by her sons Gregory Young and his wife Ellen of Gales Ferry, Conn., and Bruce Young of Augusta, her daughter, Beth Young of Leander, Texas eight grandchildren six great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild two sisters, Elaine Peterson and Crystal Locke, both of Starks also survive her as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. In 1921, the newspaper was bought by Guy Gannett (no relation to the Virginia-based Gannett Company), who was in the process of building a newspaper, radio and television empire in Maine. Her husband, John her sister, Virginia Heald of Bangor and two sons, Dale Young of North Anson and Dana Young of Winterport, predeceased her.Īt her request, there will be no visiting hours or funeral service. Her ashes will be buried in the Athearn Cemetery in Anson at a future date.
